Lead Generation Campaign:
The Objective
A revenue focused project, the primary requirement was to source new commercial partners for the 2018/9 football season.
The Strategy
With a range of commercial opportunities available, ranging from shirt sponsorship through to digital screen and stadium sponsorship, we wanted to ensure that both global and regional brands were aware they could be a part of Leeds United, however big or small.
We suggested one possibility would be to organise a hospitality event for their prospective partners, invited via a carefully targeted email campaign. We’d also deliver marketing campaigns via E-shot, Direct Mail, LinkedIn InMail and create newsworthy PR articles to achieve some much-needed free publicity for L.U.F.C.
The Results
The VIP hospitality event was a resounding success, welcoming business leaders from West Yorkshire’s leading organisations with a champagne reception and behind the scenes stadium tour. They enjoyed pre-match dining followed by reserved corporate seating. We executed the whole process for L.U.F.C., and it resulted in securing several meetings with some of the region’s biggest brands. Our other marketing campaigns also created a significant number of qualified inbound sales leads which are in the process of being explored, and are currently in the final stages of completion.
